The bridge between Turkey and Europe

Dear Friends of the BizNet Family,

For many decades it has been a kind of “obligation” to build bridges between Turkey and Europe, especially with Germany. Both countries have a very long friendly, economic and common successful past, coupled with a positive future orientation.

As the son of a guest worker who has lived in Cologne since 1977, it was a kind of obligation for me to do something in this environment and the opportunities it offers.

Since the end of the 1980s, I had made it my goal to change and expand my intercultural environment. At that time, ethno-marketing was still on everyone’s lips. Every small, medium and large company was desperate to win over the target group of Turkish origin and make some kind of business/profit from it. At that time, the problem was that most people of Turkish origin were not very familiar with many of the approaches of German companies. Many initiatives at that time almost came to nothing. The companies were sometimes very half-hearted in their concepts and the Turkish families were generally not enthusiastic about such short-term actions and were therefore very reserved.
What the Turkish families and also companies of Turkish origin needed were “bridge builders” and emotional campaigns and speeches. Both were very rare on the market.

Among other things, many ideas and concepts missed the mark or were not emotional enough and did not reach people’s hearts. In the end, both sides were not fully satisfied or the needs and expectations were not met.

We as BizNet want to take on the function as THE bridge builders, as THE engineers and THE architects, to promote this diversity, the deep friendship and solidarity between all actors and to correctly point out the needs and the opportunities and consolidate positions. We want to be the right partner and bridge builder for all actors.

That is what we are standing up for and we want to master this together. Come, let us build these bridges together and celebrate successes together!
